DEUEL COUNTY - PSALMS

66 Books of the Bible Release to 66 Counties of South Dakota

Our 19th county to pray for in South Dakota is Deuel County, with the city of Clear Lake being the county seat.  We release the book of Psalms to Deuel County.  The New Testament quotes from Psalms more than any one book of the Bible. The word psalm means "a poem to be sung to a stringed instrument."  The book of Psalms really is God's song book. These series of psalms were written over a period of 1,000 years and 73 of the 150 Psalms were written by King David.  Psalms teaches doctrine . . . provides guidance for emotions and feelings   . . . expounds on the names and nature of God Himself - they are the ultimate in musical expression! They teach about the throne of grace and how to approach it by sacrifice, prayer, and praise. Without any question, they reveal the Messiah.

History states that the good shepherd, Psalm 23 was written by David before he went to fight with Goliath. Jesus is seen clearly throughout the Psalms, most notably in Psalms 22 where the very words He uttered on the Cross were prophesied over 1000 years earlier. Psalm 91 shows the secret place of the Lord most High. Psalm 119 instructs how important the Word of God is to us.  Psalm 127 was written when Solomon built the temple.  Psalm 1 opens ones heart to walk in God's counsel and Psalm 150 ends with total worship.

Through the Blood and the Light of Jesus Christ, we release the 150 Psalms over Deuel County.  May the sacrifices of praise and worship resound across the land and may songs of deliverance rise up and cause them to be made whole.  May the atmosphere of Deuel County be saturated in true worship to you God!  Father, let Your true worshipers arise in Deuel County.
Father we release Psalms 1:3 over Deuel County. "And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season, his leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he does shall prosper."  We Bless you with Psalm 91 with your abiding place being the secret place of the Lord Most High. And may the new song of the Lord even now begin to arise in Deuel County!
