STANLEY COUNTY - HEBREWS

66 Books of the Bible Release to 66 Counties of South Dakota
Our 58th county to pray for in South Dakota is Stanley County, with the city of Ft. Pierre being the county seat.  We release the book of Hebrews to Stanley County.  It is not certain who wrote the book of Hebrews although many have suggested Paul being the author or one of his associates.  Hebrews includes more than 35 Old Testament quotations.  It was written to save people from apostasy.  Every teaching necessary to the Christian faith is implicit in Hebrews.

To speak of Christ in Hebrews is to describe the entire book.  Hebrews presents Christ as the divine-human Prophet, Priest, and King.  He is superior to all and offers the supreme sacrifice, priesthood, and covenant.  The picture of Jesus here is that He is "better" than everything of the Old Covenant - He is the best!  The superiority of Christ is shown in chapters 1-3, the superiority of the priesthood of Christ shown in 4-9, and an exhortation to faith, hope, and love in living the Christian life in chapters 10-13.  Chapter 11 of Hebrews defines faith and gives encouragement to all believers by detailing the faith of the saints gone before them in the Old Testament.  "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1).

A portion of the Lower Brule Indian Reservation lies in Stanly County.  The Lower Brule Sioux, are members of the Sicangu (Burnt Thigh), one of the bands of the Lakota Tribe. We also pray for the 1st Nation People of the land in Stanley County in these following scriptures.

Father we pray in Jesus name, that the people of Stanley County are a people of faith in Jesus Christ, and know that they can boldly come to Your throne to receive grace and mercy at all times.  We thank you that the testimony of faith is seen and heard in the people of Stanley County and demonstrated across the land.  "Seeing then that we have a great High Priest . . . Jesus the Son of God . . . Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need" (Hebrews 4:14-16).

Thank you Father, that the people in Stanley County know Your Word and allow Your living Word to mature them, instruct them, purify them.  "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12).

We declare that the people of Stanley County will run the good race of faith, looking always on the author and finisher of their faith, Jesus Christ.   ". . . Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and the finisher of our faith . . . " (Hebrews 12:1-2).

We declare the Blessings of Hebrews 8:6, to Stanley County, as you choose the most excellent ministry, the mediator of the better covenant, established on better promises in Jesus Christ our Lord.

SPINK COUNTY - PHILEMON

66 Books of the Bible Release to 66 Counties of South Dakota
Our 57th county to pray for in South Dakota is Spink County, with the city of Redfield being the county seat.  We release the book of Philemon to Spink County.  While the shortest of Paul's epistles, the book of Philemon powerfully applies the message of the gospel.  Philemon means "affectionate" and in this book we behold Jesus as the "compassionate friend."  Philemon is an appeal letter written by Paul to his spiritual son, Philemon to receive his slave Onesimus back.   Paul appealed that Onesimus was not a servant now but was a brother in the Lord as he had now received Christ and was transformed.  Philemon is challenged to show the same unconditional pardon that he received through the grace and love of Jesus.   Slavery was prevalent in that day.  Many were born as slaves, and sometimes parents even sold their children as slaves to alleviate their poverty.  Some were captured in war and made slaves, while others were kidnapped and made slaves.

When a man comes to Jesus, he is transformed from waste to wealth.  He fits well into the family of God.  Paul called Onesimus a beloved brother who had once been a slave but who had become the Lord's freeman.  This epistle shows the doctrine of imputation - the paying of a debt by one for another.  We can certainly see the picture of Jesus Christ Who paid the price for us.  Our sins were put upon Him, our debts were upon Him, Jesus freely took them to set us free.  Paul was willing to take the debts of Onesimus in order for him to be set free.  This is a clear picture of the work of Calvary.  Paul's intercession also point toward Christ's ongoing intercession with the Father on our behalf.   Only with Christ's example of forgiveness through the Cross are we able to overcome our hurts and mistakes and be reconciled to our brothers and sisters in Christ.  Love, a fruit of the Spirit, is evident throughout the book of Philemon.

"That the communication of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgement of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus" (Philemon 6).

Father in the name of Your Son Jesus, we declare that Your "sons" in Spink County know the riches in Christ and resources in Holy Spirit and receive and apply those benefits daily.  We pray that Your love would permeate through them to forgive any hurts and mistakes of the past to full reconciliation with You and one another.  And any areas where sin has caused slavery, we declare repentance, forgiveness, and reconciliation to the freedom of Christ. We release the Light of Christ to these areas of darkness.   Let Freedom in Jesus, Reign over the land and people of Spink County!

SHANNON COUNTY - TITUS

66 Books of the Bible Release to 66 Counties of South Dakota
Our 56th county to pray for in South Dakota is Shannon County.  The Pine Ridge Indian Reservation is a Oglala Lakota Native American reservation and encompasses the entirety of Shannon County. We release the book of Titus to Shannon County.  Titus means "nurse, one who rears.  In this book Paul gives his spiritual son Titus instructions for pastoring the church at Crete.  Jews from Crete were present on the day of Pentecost and they had carried the gospel back to their native land.   This book is basically a condensed version of Paul's first letter to Timothy.  Both epistles are addressed to young men who had been assigned positions of responsible leadership in churches. Titus has three great themes - church organization, sound doctrine, and holy living.  The phrase that is used again and again in Titus is "good works" and refers to "God our Saviour" more than any book in the New Testament.

Underlying the instructions of Paul is the theme that Christ is building His Church, carefully choosing the stones that make up the habitation for God.  Paul also emphasizes Christ as our Redeemer (2:14, 3:4-7), and presents His Second Coming as an incentive to holy living (2:12-13).
Beholding Jesus in Titus:
"For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world, looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works" (Titus 2:11-14).

Father we thank you in the mighty name of Jesus, that a fresh revelation of Your grace and salvation is being poured out over Shannon County.  And even as You called young Titus and Timothy, You are also calling young men and women in Shannon County into leadership in Your Kingdom.  Thank you Father, that even as the believers in the book of Titus brought back the gospel to their native land after the day of Pentecost, that the Oglala Lakota of Shannon County will also experience a transformation of Your grace and mercy in their native land.  Thank you Father, for your redemptive power that is purifying and setting free Your people, causing them to good works in Your Power.  We release the knowledge of Your Blessed Hope in Christ Jesus over Shannon County!

SANBORN COUNTY - II TIMOTHY

66 Books of the Bible Release to 66 Counties of South Dakota
Our 55th county to pray for in South Dakota is Sanborn County, with the city of Woonsocket being the county seat.  We release the book of II Timothy to Sanborn County. This epistle was written by Paul while he was in prison expecting to be executed. Paul needed Timothy to take the leadership of the churches. This letter is Paul's final instructions for equipping Timothy in God's work.
Paul encourages Timothy to stand firm in the power of the gospel and to overcome any fear in the face of opposition.  Paul then exhorts his spiritual son to reproduce in the lives of others what he has received in Christ.  He is responsible to work hard and discipline himself like a teacher, a soldier, a farmer, a workman, a vessel, and a servant, following the example of Paul's perseverance. It is clear that this letter is really a combat manual for use in spiritual warfare.  Paul also lists the keys to an enduring successful ministry in the second chapter of II Timothy:
a reproducing ministry, an enduring ministry, a studying ministry, and a holy ministry.
We see Jesus as the Good Shepherd showing His under shepherds how to act and how to behave in the house of God."That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works" (II Timothy 3:17).
Father we release through Your Son Jesus, these verses over Sanborn County:

We pray that even as the Lord, called Timothy at a young age, that the youth of Sanborn County will hear the calling of God on their lives and pursue a life of righteousness, faith, love and peace in Him.
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of a sound mind (II Timothy 1:7).  ". . . Pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart (II Timothy 2:22).

We pray that the people of Sanborn County will be students of Your Word, living and moving in Your righteousness and being equipped for every good work.
"Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" (II Timothy 2:15).  " All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work" (II Timothy 3:16).

That Sanborn County will be used as a clean vessel of honor for Your work in Your Kingdom moving in Your great power!
". . . if anyone cleanses himself, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.  (II Timothy 2:21).
". . . having a form of godliness but denying its power." (II Timothy 3:5).

ROBERTS COUNTY - I TIMOTHY

66 Books of the Bible Release to 66 Counties of South Dakota
Our 54th county to pray for in South Dakota is Roberts County, with the city of Sisseton being the county seat.  We release the book of I Timothy to Roberts County.  In I Timothy Jesus is our shepherd and our pastor.  This is one of the three short letters written by Paul, called the Pastoral Epistles, written to Timothy, his spiritual son who was ministering in the church at Ephesus.  The two main purposes of this book were (1) to help us understand the ministry of the local church, and (2) to encourage us to never give up.

Paul gives us a beautiful picture of Jesus in this book:  "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 5:23).

Over 60% of the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate also known as the Lake Traverse Reservation is in Roberts County, with lesser amounts being in SD counties of Marshall, Day, Grant, and Codington along with two counties in North Dakota.

The name Timothy means "honoring God." Father we pray in the name of Jesus, that even as you called Timothy at a young age, that the young people in Roberts County and Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate would now rise up as godly examples, "Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity" ( 1 Timothy 4:12).  Father we pray that the young people will have an experience and love relationship in You that causes them to live a life that honors You.

Father, that the people in Roberts County would pray for our leaders and those in authority as 1 Timothy 2:1-4 instructs us, "Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.  For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth."
And that a revelation of your redemptive power be made known to them.

Father, that godly leaders would arise in Roberts County and also the tribal government of Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate.  Father we release in the mighty name of Jesus, a might revival of Your Glory to sweep across Roberts County and this reservation and that many will come to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  And that the people will find their true identity and destiny in You Lord Jesus.
Let Your Kingdom come and Let Your will be done on earth (in Roberts County) as it is in Heaven.  We release the Blessings of the Lord on the land and the people of Roberts County.

POTTER COUNTY II THESSALONIANS

66 Books of the Bible Release to 66 Counties of South Dakota
Our 53rd county to pray for in South Dakota is Potter County, with the city of Gettysburg being the county seat.  We release the book of II Thessalonians to Potter County.  The Second Coming of Jesus is given much attention in this book.  Thanks to Paul's letters we are not ignorant of the details surrounding this blessed event!  II Thessalonians was written to correct certain wrong ideas and wrong practices related to the doctrine of the Lord's return. Paul writes this brief letter to correct the error and also to encourage those believers whose faith is being tested by the difficulties presented by persecution.  This book clarifies the event leading up to the "day of Christ"(II Thessalonians 2:2).  Jesus' Second Coming will bring salvation to Christians (2:13) but terrible judgment to unbelievers (1:7-9).

Paul's writings also encourage us today to appreciate the Word with our hearts, appropriate the Word with our minds, and apply the Word with our will. Then our whole person will be controlled with God's Word, thus giving us the victory.

Father I thank you that the people of Potter County appreciate, appropriate, and apply Your living Word in their lives.  And because they have stored Your word inside of them, they will never give up, and they will have the victory in Christ Jesus in great power.

Father, I thank you in the mighty name of Jesus, that the people in Potter County are established in You for every good word and work.
"Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us, and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts, and establish you in every good word and work" (II Thessalonians 2:16-17).

Father in the name of Jesus, we release the land and people of Potter County to come to their full calling and destiny in You.  And that Your Glory would shine across this land.
"We pray for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power, that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ (II Thessalonians 1:11-12).

PERKINS COUNTY - I THESSALONIANS

66 Books of the Bible Release to 66 Counties of South Dakota

Our 52nd county to pray for in South Dakota is Perkins County, with the city of Bison being the county seat.  We release the book of I Thessalonians to Perkins County.  The two major themes in I and II Thessalonians are the return of Jesus Christ and the ministry of the local church.  Paul's purpose in writing this letter of I Thessalonians was to ground the church in the doctrine of Christian faith, especially in reference to Christ's return.  He encouraged them to live holy lives.  They were confused about the return of Jesus, and he endeavored to help their understanding.  Some believers thought the day of the Lord had arrived because of the intense persecution, but Paul showed them otherwise. Paul makes the point that the suddenness of the coming of the Jesus will not surprise prepared Christians who have the appropriate armor (5:8), which works in all dimensions of time: past, present, and future with faith, hope, and love.  He also corrected some of the weaknesses in the church.
II Thessalonians is a letter from a spiritual father to his spiritual children.  Paul pictured the church as a family and the word "brethren" or "brother" is used 19 times.   Throughout this book is an emphasis upon steadfastness in the Lord and a continuing growth in faith and love in our relationship with God and one another.

Jesus is clearly seen as the believer's salvation - both now and at His Second Coming.  "For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him" ( I Thessalonians 5:9-10).  He will deliver, reward, perfect, resurrect, and sanctify all who trust Him.

Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray and declare these following verses over Perkins County:
"Rejoice always.  Pray without ceasing.  In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you" (I Thessalonians 5:16-18).  We pray that a spirit of prayer, thanksgiving, and the joy of the Lord be upon the people of this county.

"And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do you, so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father . . ." (I Thessalonians 3:12-13).   We pray that the people in Perkins County are living in holiness before God, loving one another.
"Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.  He who call you is faithful, who also will do it" (I Thessalonians 5:23-24).  That Perkins County will experience the peace of God and His faithfulness to complete the good work of holiness in them and around them.

We declare through the name of Jesus, that the people of Perkins County will live as "sons of light" ever ready for "the Day of the Lord!"

PENNINGTON COUNTY - COLOSSIANS

66 Books of the Bible Release to 66 Counties of South Dakota
Our 51st county to pray for in South Dakota is Pennington County, with the city of Rapid City being the county seat. We release the book of Colossians to Pennington County.  Colossians is one of the most Christ-centered books in the Bible.  Paul's priority was to show that Christ is preeminent- first and foremost in everything, in order to combat a growing heresy that was threatening to devalue Christ in the church.  The first half of the book of Colossians deals with the supremacy of Jesus Christ, and the last half with submitting to Christ, the supreme One.  The book of Ephesians emphasizes the Body of Christ, and Colossians emphasizes Christ as the Head of the Body.  "And He is the head of the body, the church who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things he might have the preeminence" (Colossians 1:18).  The believer is complete in Him alone and lacks nothing because "in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily" (2:9) and He has "all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge" (2:3).

Christ is seen on virtually every page of this book.  He is the image of God (1:15), He is the head of the Church (1:18), He is the believer's hope of glory (1:27), He is the head of all principalities and powers and disarmed them (2:10, 15), He is seated on the right hand of God (3:1), and He is all in all (3:11).  Because the believer is risen with Christ (3:1-4), he is to put off the old man and put on the new (3:5-17), which will result in holiness in all relationships (3:18-25).

Father in the name of Jesus, we thank you that Your people of Pennington County, are complete in You and lack nothing as they are seated with Christ Jesus in heavenly places.  "If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.  And set your mind on above, not on things on the earth" (3:1-2).

We declare over the people of Pennington County, the revelation of the mystery of "Christ in you, the Hope of Glory."  "The mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generation, but now has been revealed to His saints.  To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the Glory of this mystery among the Gentiles which is Christ in you, the Hope of Glory" (1:26-27).

We declare that Christ is our "All in All", over the land and people of Pennington County.  And that they are complete in Christ Jesus.  "For in Him dwells all the fullness of the God-head bodily, and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power" (2:9-10).

MOODY COUNTY - PHILIPPIANS

66 Books of the Bible Release to 66 Counties of South Dakota
Our 50th county to pray for in South Dakota is Moody County, with the city of Flandreau being the county seat.  We release the book of Philippians to Moody County.  Philippians is named the "epistle of joy" in which Paul mentions joy, rejoicing, or gladness 19 times in this letter to the church.  This letter reveals the timeless message that true joy is to be found only in a dynamic personal relationship with Jesus Christ and in the assurance that God is able to turn adverse circumstances to our good and His Glory.  The key to the joyous Christian life that Paul found was the renewing of his mind in God's Word and that we must surrender our minds to Christ daily.  A person's joy cannot be stolen if he has a single mind toward Christ.

In Philippians 3:12-6 we have the essentials for winning the race in the 4 D's 1) Divine dissatisfaction (3: 12-13),   2) Devotion (3:13), 3) Determination (3:14), and 4) Discipline (3:15-16). Jesus Christ is portrayed in Philippians in chapter 1 as the Believer's Life, in chapter 2, as the Believer's Example, in chapter 3, as the Believer's Faith and Hope, and in chapter 4, as the Believer's Strength.
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13).

The Flandreau Indian Reservation is located in Flandreau Township in central Moody County, near the city of Flandreau. The Santee Dakota people of the Sioux tribe live on this reservation.  Father we pray for the Dakota people of Moody County, that their source of life and strength is in Christ Jesus. We thank you that their source of faith and hope in You is being restored.  Let the Joy of the Lord be their strength as they press toward the high calling of God in their lives.
"I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 3:14).
" . . . I count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord . . . (Philippians 3:8).

We declare that the people of Moody County have the mind of Christ, moving in love and unity with one another.
"Fulfill my joy, that you be like minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind" (Philippians 2:2).
"Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus . . ." (Philippians 2:5).

We declare this verse over Moody County:

"That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth, and that every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the Glory of God the Father" (Philippians 2:10-11).

Let the Glory of the Lord shine forth on the land and people of Moody County!

MINNEHAHA COUNTY - EPHESIANS

66 Books of the Bible Release to 66 Counties of South Dakota
Our 49th county to pray for in South Dakota is Minnehaha County, with the city of Sioux Falls being the county seat.  We release the book of Ephesians to Minnehaha County. Ephesians is often called the "kingly epistle" or "the epistle of Christian maturity." Paul' important phrase "in Christ" appears about 35 times, more than in any other New Testament book.  The key thought in this book is the gathering together of all things in Jesus Christ.  Christ is the center in Whom all things unite and the bond Who unites all things. In the first three chapters, Paul deals with the concept of unity in Christ.  In chapter 4, 5, and 6 Paul tells how God will bring all this to pass. Christ is God's instrument of reconciliation.  The Church is Christ's instrument of reconciliation.

Ephesians shows the believer has a responsibility to walk in accordance with his heavenly calling in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 4:1).  Believers must be aware of their position in Christ as a basis of their everyday life (Ephesians 2:6).  We are to sit in heavenly places with Christ, walk supernaturally in Him, and stand in the battle with the armor of God.

The Believer's Position in Christ - Ephesians chapters 1-3 (Sit)
We are seated together in Heavenly places.
We have salvation and have all spiritual blessings in Christ.
We have been chosen by the Father, redeemed by the Son, and sealed by the Holy Spirit.

The Believer's Conduct in the World - Ephesians chapters 4-6 (Walk)
Walk according to your high calling.
A Holy Spirit - empowered walk.
A mature walk that works on practical relationships in life.

The Believer's Walk is a Warfare - Ephesians 6:10-20 (Stand)
Put on the whole armor of God, engage in prayer, and having done all, we stand as conquerors.

Father we thank you in the name of Jesus, that Your people in Minnehaha County not only know whose they are, but where they are, seated with you in heavenly places.  And that every spiritual blessing in Christ is theirs to walk in as they pursue "the high calling" of God you have predestined for them.

Father we thank you that the people of Minnehaha County are receiving a fresh encounter of the spirit of wisdom and revelation in knowing You and Your calling on them to walk in the riches of Your Glory.  "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. . ." (Ephesians 1:7-18).

We thank you Father, that Minnehaha County is Your workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for "good works with Jesus Christ being the chief cornerstone (2:20-22).  And that the people of Minnehaha County will be fully equipped in the unity and knowledge of the Son of God  into a perfect man (mature son) in Christ (4:11-13).

We pray and declare Paul's prayer in Ephesians 3:16-21 over Minnehaha County.  That the love of Christ would dwell in your hearts through faith being filled with all the fullness of God, exceedingly, abundantly, above all that you can ask or think, according to the power that works in you.

We release in the name of Jesus, the mature Sons of God to arise in Minnehaha County!

MINER COUNTY - GALATIANS

66 Books of the Bible Release to 66 Counties of South Dakota
Our 48th county to pray for in South Dakota is Miner County, with the city of Howard being the county seat.  We release the book of Galatians to Miner County.  Jesus is represented in the book of Galatians as our liberator.  The crucified Christ is the center of our freedom from the law, from the curse of sin, and from our sinful nature.  Apostle Paul writes this forceful epistle to do away with the false gospel of works and demonstrates the superiority of justification by faith (3:11).  God raised up Paul as the Moses of the Christian church to deliver them from the bondage of legalism.  Freedom in Christ means freedom to produce the fruits of righteousness through a Spirit-led life-style. Freedom must not be used "as an opportunity of the flesh, but through love serve one another" (5:13).   Chapter 5 of this book records the power, "Walk in the Spirit (5:16), and the results, "the fruit of the Spirit" (5:22), of that freedom.

Father in the mighty name of Jesus, we release the sons of God of Your Kingdom across Miner County.  "And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!"  "Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ" (4
:6-7).

"Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage" (5
:1).  Father we pray that the people and land of Miner County choose to  live in Your liberty and freedom, and will not be entangled in any bondage that would stray them from Your presence.  And that the people of Miner County walk in the spirit and not of the flesh.

Father in the mighty name of Jesus, we release the nine gifts of Your Spirit over Miner County.  That your people would walk in Your love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (5
:22).  And cause them to fulfill the law in Your Love, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself" (5:14).

We release Freedom in Christ over Miner County!

MELLETTE COUNTY - II CORINTHIANS

66 Books of the Bible Release to 66 Counties of South Dakota
Our 47th county to pray for in South Dakota is Mellette County, with the city of White River being the county seat.  We release the book of II Corinthians to Mellette County.  II Corinthians opens a window into Paul's heart and is a book of encouragement.  In this letter Paul shows how very beautifully the work of Christ reconciles God to man and how the work of Holy Spirit reconciles man to God.  Paul encourages the people to go from trials to triumph.

Jesus is seen in II Corinthians as encouraging the church no matter what their trials.
Christ is -  Our comfort (1:5), Our triumph (2:14), Our Lord (4:5), Our light (4:6), Our Glory (4:6), Our judge (5:10), Our liberty (3:17), Our reconciliation (5:19), Our substitute (5:21), Our gift (9:15), Our master (10:7), and Our strength and power (12:9).

Father we thank you that Mellette County has found their freedom in Christ and out of that freedom cause them to live as Your living Epistles today.
". . . Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty" (2:17).
“You are an Epistle of Christ”(3:2).

We pray and declare II Corinthians 5:17-21
We declare that the people of Mellette County embrace they are "new creatures in Christ, and that the old way of thinking and doing things have passed away. That the ministry of reconciliation be shown in Mellette County to their fellow man causing them to be Your ambassadors of righteousness.

We declare that as the people of Mellette County walk in obedience to you God, they are ambassadors for the Kingdom of God and carry the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ.  And that "no weapon formed against them shall prosper."
"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled" (II Corinthians 10:4-6).

We declare and Bless you in the name of Jesus, Mellette County, His abounding grace and abundance.
"And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you always having all sufficiency in all things, may have abundance for every good work" (II Corinthians 9:8).

MEADE COUNTY - I CORINTHIANS

66 Books of the Bible Release to 66 Counties of South Dakota
Our 46th county to pray for in South Dakota is Meade County, with the city of Sturgis being the county seat.  We release the book of I Corinthians to Meade County.  I Corinthians is a pastoral letter written by the Apostle Paul to resolve doctrinal and practical problems within the local church.  In it Paul provides straightforward instructions for moral and theological problems such as factions, immorality, spiritual immaturity, church discipline, ethical differences, and proper use of spiritual gifts. Paul's response on the issues made Christianity practical. Where these same problems exist in the modern church, the remedies are the same.

In addition to words of discipline, Paul shares words of counsel in answer to questions raised by the Corinthian believers. In this book, Paul speaks about practical wisdom for everyday living, righteousness in believers' lives, sanctification, and redemption.  All of these qualities are found in Jesus and are summed up in I Corinthians 1
:30. This book proclaims the relevance of Christ Jesus to every area of the believer's life.   Jesus is also seen in this book as correcting the abuses of His Church. Key chapters are II Corinthians 13 (the love chapter) and the manifestations of the gifts of the Spirit chapter 12.  Also chapter 15 is an outstanding chapter on the Resurrection.

Father we release in the mighty name of Jesus, Your love as explained in I Corinthians chapter 13 be known by the people and be seen over the land of Meade County.  Also that the fullness of the gifts of Your Holy Spirit would manifest causing Your Resurrection Power to be seen across the land of Meade County.

"Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you . . . "(10
:12-13).
"For you were bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's" (6
:19-20)

Father we pray that the people of Meade County would understand Your ways and move with Your mind, through Christ Jesus.

66 Books of the Bible Release to 66 Counties of South Dakota
Our 45th county to pray for in South Dakota is McPherson County, with the city of Leola being the county seat.  We release the book of Romans to McPherson County.  Apostle Paul was the author of 13 New Testament books, with the book of Romans being one of his greatest works.  The book of Romans is Paul's theological explanation for the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Paul presents Jesus Christ as the second Adam whose righteousness and substitutionary death have provided justification for all who place their faith in Him.

The person and work of Jesus is viewed as the foundation upon which everything in the Christian life is obtained.  God offers His gift of righteousness to everyone who comes to Jesus Christ by faith (Romans 1
:16-17).  The book of Romans contains general teaching applicable to all Christians for all time.  Throughout the history of the church, the epistle of Romans has sparked many revivals as people have become aware of the magnificence of God and His grace toward us.

MCCOOK COUNTY - ACTS

66 Books of the Bible Release to 66 Counties of South Dakota
Our 44th county to pray for in South Dakota is McCook County, with the city of Salem being the county seat.  We release the book of Acts to McCook County.  Acts, the 2nd book written by Luke, is a continuation of the doings and teachings of Jesus, but now accomplished through His Church.  Jesus is seen throughout Acts speaking and acting through His church.  Acts is the story of men and women who took the Great Commission seriously and began to spread the news of a risen Savior to the most remote corners of their known world.  Acts is the historical link between the gospels and the epistles.

Jesus Christ, the resurrected Savior, is the central theme of Acts.  There would be no book of Acts apart from the resurrected Christ!  This is the Jesus that we see throughout this book - the living, indwelling Christ working through His church through His Holy Spirit.  Luke places a strong emphasis on the ministry of Holy Spirit, as Jesus had given instruction in Acts 1
:8, to wait for the infilling of Holy Spirit to empower them to be witnesses for Him.  The power of Holy Spirit through the church is the most striking feature in Acts.  In Acts 2 we begin to see the formation of the Christian Church on the day of Pentecost, 50 days after Passover.  Pentecost birthed the Church as the Holy Spirit came as a mighty rushing wind with tongues of fire over the disciples that had gathered together in Jerusalem.  This was the empowerment from on High, Jesus told them would happen, the Spirit of God poured out on all flesh, and the doings and teachings of Christ now to be accomplished through His Church fulfilling the Great Commission in great power.

The public ministry of the church in Acts began with a life-changing encounter with Holy Spirit.  On the day of Pentecost, the Spirit of God was poured out on all flesh.  And today, we are to walk in this same power of Holy Spirit as this early church.  Jesus is the prototype of the Spirit-filled, Spirit-empowered life.  The Book of Acts is the story of receiving what Jesus received in order to do what Jesus did.  Through the power of Holy Spirit to preach the kingdom of God and to demonstrate kingdom power by healing the sick, casting out demon, and setting the captives free.

Father in the name of Jesus, we thank you for McCook County.  We thank you Lord, that a time of refreshing from Your Presence would sweep across the people and land of this county, as a time of repentance and conversion comes (Acts 3
:9).  And that Your people of this area experience a fresh Pentecost experience of Holy Spirit even as in the Book of Acts.  Let the Acts of Holy Spirit be known in the people of McCook County spurring them on to fulfill the Great Commission of the Gospel of Your Kingdom.  Cause the fire of Holy Spirit to burn in the hearts of Your people moving in signs, and wonders, and miracles, once again.

MARSHALL COUNTY - JOHN

66 Books of the Bible Release to 66 Counties of South Dakota
Our 43rd county to pray for in South Dakota is Marshall County, with the city of Britton being the county seat.  We release the book of John to Marshall County. John means "Jehovah is gracious."  The book of John shows Jesus as the Son of God, depicted as an eagle, the Divine One, the One who lived high above all circumstances.  John gives us the seven I AM's of Jesus to prove that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, along with seven signs to show the divinity of Jesus. Using miraculous signs, John proves that ". . . Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life through His name" (John 20:31).  And the opening of the book of John clearly links Jesus the Word with the God of creation, "In the beginning was the Word . . ." (John 1:1-5).  Life and light are the best words John used to describe the incarnate Word of God.  Also the theme verse of John 3:16, makes it clear that God sent His Son for mankind to have eternal Life.

Father we lift up Marshall County to you, in the name of Jesus.  We release the Life, and the Light of Jesus Christ over the people and land of Marshall County.  We proclaim, declare, and decree the 7 I AM's in the Book of John today along with the 7 miracles over Marshall County
