66 Books of the Bible Release to 66 Counties of South Dakota

 

Our 13th county to pray for in South Dakota is Clay County, with the city of Vermillion being the county seat.  We release the book of 1 Chronicles to Clay County.  First Chronicles gives a genealogy from Adam to David, and relates details of the life of King David, emphasizing the Messianic line, the Temple, and spiritual reforms.  God promised David that He would ". . . settle him (David's ultimate offspring, Jesus Christ) in mine house and in my kingdom forever, and his throne shall be established forevermore" (1 Chron.17:14).

 Also the prayer of Jabez is found in chapter 4, where Jabez called on the God of Israel saying in verse 10, "Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!" So God granted him what he requested.

Father in the mighty name of Jesus, we release the prayer like Jabez prayed, to be on the hearts of the people in Clay County to pray.  That they too, would call on your name Lord Jesus, to enable them to be blessed and kept from evil, causing no pain to others, and as a result enlarging  their influence for the Kingdom of God across the land of Clay County.  And even as King David, let their offspring also follow in righteousness in the grace of their Lord Jesus Christ. We release through the name of Jesus, and through His Blood and Light, Blessing to you Clay County.
