DAVISON COUNTY - ESTHER

66 Books of the Bible Release to 66 Counties of South Dakota

Our 17th county to pray for in South Dakota is Davison County, with the city of Mitchell being the county seat.  We release the book of Esther to Davison County.  In the book of Esther the devil had a plan to exterminate the Jews in Babylon.  This book shows the miraculous deliverance of the Jews from the attempted extermination.  Esther, like Jesus, was the savior and advocate of her people.  Like Jesus, Esther was a mediator for her people (1 Tim. 2:5) and was willing to lay down her life for her people (Esther 4:16.)  Jesus, of course, was not only willing, but did so! 
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for Davison County!  We release through the blood and the light of Jesus Christ that the people of Davison County arise, "for such a time, as this."  That even as Esther, they will stand in the gap in intercession for the people and land of Davision County and also for this state of South Dakota, and even this nation.  That where there is injustice, you will bring justice, and where there is unrighteousness, you would bring righteousness.  Cause them to know God, that you are looking for a Bride (a church) that has eyes for only You and that You delight in giving her the key to the city and the life of a nation.  That Your Bride in Davison County would care more for Your Presence, than Your Presents, as she comes in humility, boldly before Your throne of grace (Hebrews 4 :16).
