Our 11th county to pray for in South
Dakota is Charles Mix County, with the city of Lake Andes being the
county seat. We release the book of 1 Kings to Charles Mix
County. The
first part of 1 Kings tells of the story of King Solomon who was King David's
son. Solomon typified Jesus Christ in many ways, his fame, glory, wealth,
and honor foreshadow Christ's wisdom and kingdom. The name
"Solomon" means "Peace". Christ is the Prince of
Peace, and there will be no end to His peace (Is. 9: 6). Solomon
was noted for his wisdom, but Christ is the "wisdom of God" (1 Cor. 1:
25, 29). Solomon's reign was temporary, but Christ will reign on the
throne of David forever, for He is the "King of Kings and the Lord of
Lords" (Rev. 19:16).
Also the story of the great prophet Elijah is told in this book. Many of the miracles of Jesus were reminiscent of the wonders God did through Elijah and Elisha in Kings. In addition, Christ is a Priest superior to any of those recorded in Kings (Heb. 7 22-27). Christ Himself is the combination of the 3 offices of Prophet, Priest, and King.
The Yankton Reservation covers 60% of Charles Mix County. Father in the mighty name of Jesus, we release the wisdom of God and the knowledge of You, unto Charles Mix County. We pray that the people in Charles Mix County will see you Lord Jesus as their true Prophet, Priest, and King. That the true voice of the Lord, would resound out of the people and all through the land of Charles Mix County. That the intercessors, watchman, and gatekeepers of that area would rise up to stand in the gap for the people there in the priestly role you have called them to. We release through the Blood and the Light of our Lord Jesus Christ, Rev.1:6, that the kings and priests you have called would rise up in this hour, to rule and reign with you, King Jesus! We Bless you Charles Mix County! Rise up and Be who God has called you to Be!
