66 Books of the Bible Release to 66 Counties of South Dakota

Our 10th county to pray for in South Dakota is Campbell County, with the city of Mound City being the county seat.  We release the book of 2 Samuel to Campbell County. 2 Samuel offers a portrait of the strengths and weaknesses of David's 40-year reign as king as he built Israel into a powerful nation. David is an important Old Testament type of Christ.  Many of the promises made to David are fulfilled in Jesus as in Matthew 21:9, Jesus is called "the son of David". 

David brought unity into the nation, organized a civil service, organized a priesthood, provided a central place of worship, and was able to destroy the backbone of the enemy.  In many times throughout David's life, God showed Himself strong as a Deliverer not only for David himself but also to Israel.  Out of these times of deliverance, chapter 22 was just one of the many songs of praise that David sang unto the Lord.  In verses 2 &3 he proclaimed, "The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, The God of my strength, in whom I will trust, My shield and horn of my salvation, My stronghold and my refuge......"

Father we praise You and thank You for Campbell County.  We thank you that you gave us Your Son Jesus Christ, to be our Deliverer.  We release the Blood and the Light of Jesus to be known to the people of Campbell County as their Deliverer.  That they will find great strength in You as they make You their rock and refuge. 
Even, as David established a 24/7 non-stop house of  worship for 40 years, we release a fresh wind of worship, of worshiping you in Spirit and in Truth throughout the land of Campbell County AND across this whole state of South Dakota.  That Your true Worship Warriors would now arise across this land!
